Charles Dickens

Charles Dickens, (born February 7, 1812, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England—died June 9, 1870, Gad’s Hill, near Chatham, Kent), was an iconic writer in the English literature. He did not only wrote novels, but also was a journalist, editor and illustrator.

NOVELS

Dickens published a total of fifteen novels, he reflects on his stories how was the Victorian era for the poor people; his style of writing reflects a subtle critic to the society.

His most famous works include “A Christmas Carol“, “Oliver Twist” and “Great Expectations“. This last one is famous for being considered as his greatest and literary “complete” of all of his novels, being the most mature.
